Gervonta Davis Vs Ryan Garcia Fight Cards

Gervonta Davis Knocks Out Rolly Romero

Davis Retains WBA Lightweight Championship

Third-Round TKO Win Ends Bitter Feud

LAS VEGAS -- After months of trash-talking and social media back-and-forth, Gervonta Davis finally settled his rivalry with Rolly Romero in the ring on Saturday night. And it didn't take long for "Tank" to get the job done.

Davis knocked out Romero with a devastating left hook in the third round to retain his WBA lightweight championship. The official time of the stoppage was 2:12 of the third round. With the win, Davis improves to 27-0 with 25 knockouts, while Romero drops to 14-1.

The fight was a one-sided affair from the opening bell. Davis controlled the pace and distance, landing the cleaner and harder punches. Romero was able to land a few shots of his own, but he was never able to truly hurt Davis. In the third round, Davis landed a left hook that sent Romero crashing to the canvas. Romero was able to beat the count, but he was clearly hurt. Davis then swarmed Romero and landed a flurry of punches that forced the referee to stop the fight.

After the fight, Davis said he was happy to finally get his hands on Romero. "I've been wanting to fight this guy for a long time," Davis said. "He's been talking a lot of trash, so I'm glad I was able to shut him up." Romero, meanwhile, was gracious in defeat. "Gervonta is a great champion," Romero said. "He's too fast and too strong. I'll be back, but I need to get better."

The win is a big one for Davis, who is now considered one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world. He has now defended his WBA lightweight championship three times, and he is looking to unify the division in the near future. With his power, speed, and skill, Davis is a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world.
