Biden Turns 80, Becoming Oldest President in US History

Biden Reaches Milestone as Record-Holder for Presidential Age

Pew Research Center Finds Concern Over Media Undervaluing

President Joe Biden has made history as the oldest person to assume the office of the presidency in the United States, turning 80 years old on November 20, 2022. Biden surpassed the previous record held by Ronald Reagan, who was 77 when he left office in 1989.

Despite his advanced age, Biden has maintained his commitment to public service, a trait he has exhibited throughout his long career in politics. He was the 47th Vice President of the United States from 2009 to 2017 under President Barack Obama, and has been the 46th President of the United States since 2021.

However, the Pew Research Center recently conducted a poll which revealed that 46% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents believe that media organizations are underrating Biden's achievements as president.
