A magnitude 4.8 earthquake has been recorded off the coast of Western Australia at 4.41am this morning.
The earthquake was located about 100 kilometres north of Broome and had a depth of 10 kilometres.
There have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
Geoscience Australia is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
