Labour Predicted To Win 410 Seats With The Conservatives On 131

Labour set for landslide election win, exit poll suggests

Labour predicted to win 410 seats, with the Conservatives on 131

Biggest swing in British political history predicted as Labour could secure 170-seat majority

Britain's Labour Party is on course to win a landslide general election victory, according to an exit poll. The poll, conducted by Ipsos MORI for the BBC, ITV and Sky News, suggests that Labour will win 410 seats in the House of Commons, while the Conservatives will win just 131. This would give Labour a majority of 170 seats, the largest majority any party has had since the 1980s.

The exit poll suggests that Labour will make significant gains across the country, including in traditional Conservative strongholds such as the Midlands and the North of England. The Conservatives, meanwhile, are expected to lose seats across the board, including in their traditional heartlands in the South of England.

The exit poll also suggests that the Labour leader, Keir Starmer, is on course to become the next Prime Minister. Starmer, who has led Labour since 2020, is seen as a more moderate figure than his predecessor, Jeremy Corbyn. He has promised to unite the country and to rebuild the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The official results of the general election will be announced on Friday. However, the exit poll suggests that Labour is on course for a historic victory.
